Not many people know that this was the original university building, and that is was one in the Cape Dutch style. It stands beautifully preserved on Bird street.

This is actually a well executed modern building in the classical Cape Dutch style, and stands alongside the historical counterpart of the same name.

This house forms part of a group of buildings from what was originally the Rhenish church. This was where the pastor used to live. Located on Bird street, which is a road dotted with heritage buildings...this is a good example of the style, having a lacey gable with an apron verandah on the front.

This historical replica is one of the finest. It is a guest house in the suburb of Mostertsdrift. The immaculate gardens seem to be in full bloom all year round.
