Peninsula style gables are characterised by a protruding central section. Perhaps the best known gable of all is that at Groot Constantia and this is typical of the style. Other examples can be found at Rustenburg wine farm. The gable at Babylonstoren is a reconstruction and lies somewhere between the Neoclassical and Peninsula style gables.
